I really admire traxxas for their glossy manuals, extras, design etc but clarification on such two identical models does prove to be very unclear unless you have experienced owners to ask up front. however, i managed to find one shop selling the 7108 in my vicinity but even the owner of that shop did not realise there was a 7107 version out! i don't even know how long this truggy has been on the market and when the spec changed to the 7107. they dun know too much about rc cars, you give them a part number and they check to see if they have it in stock. i've dealt with this shop many times and the owners are just suppliers. My traxxas agent dealer was all out of stock of any 1/16 e-revo. furthermore, given the fact the model numbers are not sequential - generically the 7107 is newer than the 7108, that also causes some confusion. ![]() traxxas should supply a differences table. flipping back and forth is pretty hard on that long list. Traxxas also does not explain the development history of the 1/16 e-revo so it is hard to tell the difference between them unless you compare the data off two tabs within your browser. there don't seem to be any for the 7107 at the moment. it's not until you go the product manuals section will you find the actual manual(s) for the 7108. I have checked out the traxxas website before posting here and under the current products and for the 1/16 e-revo, it shows the current model as 7107. ![]()
