In the same way that the Imugi can be used to drop allies into the thick of combat, it can also be used to get them out of sticky situations, sometimes within seconds of each other. Unprepared allies entering the portal may be greeted by a waiting horde of enemies and get slaughtered before they even have a chance to fight back. Given the Imugi's low to moderate durability, it can be crippled and even destroyed if it doesn't land safely.Īdditionally, the Imugi should use the damage boost it gains in flight to clear the area where it intends on placing its exit portal. While the Imugi does have stealth, there's always the danger that an enemy has stealth targeting in their loadout. After landing, it needs time to drop its exit portal safely. While in the air, the Imugi should ideally utilize a path that is relatively shielded but also direct enough so that it can reach its intended destination. It should be close enough to allied robots so that they can enter without much trouble, but not too close where unintentional teleporting can occur. In order to correctly utilize the Imugi, commanders must make sure to set up the 'entrance portal' (the one the Imugi initially drops when its ability is activated) at an easily accessible location. It is in exceptionally high demand on the battlefield. The Imugi's ability to teleport not only itself but its allies into the heart of enemy territory is invaluable. The role in question is push leader (unsurprisingly, given the robot's ability's name "Battle Breach"). As such, there's only really a few ways to play the Imugi correctly but it can be devastating if done so. It serves a ridiculously niche role on the battlefield, but it's one with very little competition too. The Imugi is a robot that is all about teamwork. The portals last up to 60 seconds, but will disappear early if the Imugi re-activates its ability. This includes the Imugi itself after landing. However, the robot is then subject to a 10 second inability to teleport. Allied robots (but not titans) that pass through will teleport to the other portal and gain 37.5% damage resistance for 10 seconds. The portals spawned by Imugi's ability are linked to each other. Afterwards, the ability enters a 10 second cooldown phase. It also repairs itself and gains 37.5% damage resistance for 8 seconds. When either the ability button is pressed a second time or the 8 second flight duration expires, the Imugi lands, dropping its previous buffs but spawning another portal at its landing location. Upon activation, the Imugi ascends into the air, dropping a portal and gaining stealth, an info needed% speed boost and a 5%, 10% or 15% damage buff depending on MK1, MK2 or MK3 level. The Imugi's ability is called Battle Breach. The Imugi is a medium robot with 2 medium hardpoints and 1 light hardpoint.
